The Eating Disorder Center has a regional mission and offers highly specialized inpatient care, day care, and outpatient care.

Region Skåne has been given additional assignments within the framework of national highly specialized care (NHV), and for the first time, psychiatry in Skåne has also received NHV for difficult-to-treat eating disorders. There is extensive experience, high competence, and a strong drive to develop this area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is aimed at those who want to work in our day care. The job includes tasks related to both nursing work and social mapping, as well as rehabilitative measures for returning to work, school, or other activities. Educational meals are an important part of the treatment work.

As a curator with us, you will be the contact person and have regular individual support conversations. Support for relatives, including children as relatives, as well as couple conversations, is also included. Working with group interventions, such as psychoeducation and preventive treatment, may also be relevant tasks. Additionally, the work consists of psychosocial treatment work.

A significant part of the job involves collaboration and cooperation with other healthcare providers, units, municipalities, and authorities such as the Social Insurance Agency. In total, we are 45 employees, and you will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, psychologists, dietitians, curators, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries in a work environment characterized by professionalism, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a recognized degree in social work. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Experience working in psychiatry is an advantage, and if you have training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), level 1, that is also a plus. Experience in specialized psychiatry, preferably in the area of eating disorders, is desirable. It is also valuable if you have experience collaborating with other healthcare providers, units, and authorities such as the Social Insurance Agency.

As you will work both individually and in a team, we see that you have good collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently. You are flexible, proactive, and creative.
